Ionofil Molar from VOCO is a glass ionomer cement packable for dental restorations. Ionofil Molar allows the dentist to make very durable restorations as it has excellent physical properties such as very high compressive, transverse and abrasion resistance. The work of restorations with Ionofil Molar cement is very comfortable for the dentist as it has a non sticky consistency, very good packaging and good adhesion to dentin and enamel.

Ionofil Molar AC Quick is a  fast hardening glass ionomer cement. This direct restoration cement is presented in convenient application capsules with 40% more cement available than other comparable capsules of dentocolor materials.

Quick ist the fast binding version of  Ionofil Molar AC.  There are a number of different filling materials presently in use, including a range of composite fillings, and the traditional silver amalgam.

It acts as a sealant, allowing the tooth to remain protected. Their use is primarily due to their flexibility – they are easier to apply compared to composite fillings. Key negatives include their durability – compared to composite and amalgam fillings, glass ionomer fillings lack strength and wear resistance.
