Ammdent Megafrost Etching Gel

Frost is a very effective economical etching gel indicated for enamel etching and dentin Conditioning Frost is available in 3.5 gm.

A liquid solution of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) was thought to chemically soften the root canal dentine and dissolve the smear layer, as well as to increase dentine permeability. Almost all manufacturers of nickel-titanium instruments recommend their use as a lubricant during rotary root canal preparation.

USES :-

• Prep canal lubricants help remove calcifications and the smear layer as well as lubricate the canal for competent instrumentation.
• Contain about 15% EDTA. water-based, which allows easy access to the narrow apical area and is easier to remove than gels or creams.
• Reduces file breakage during mechanical preparation

• Helps in mechanical as well as chemical cleansing of root canal preparations

COMPOSITION :-

• 37% Orthophosphoric Acid Gel

INDICATIONS :-

• Composite restorations
• Adhesive cementation of inlays (composite and allceramic), crowns, bridges, veneers, adhesive bridges, and posts and cores
• Splints
• Bonding of orthodontic attachments (e.g. brackets)
• Pit and fissure sealing

FEATURES :-

• Clean the tooth surface/cavity of debris after tooth preparation.
• Apply Ammdent Frost Etching Gel on the tooth surface.
• Wash off the etchant.
• Dry it for 5 secs.
