Ivoclar Fluor Protector is a protective varnish with fluoride. Because of its properties the varnish spreads easily and readily flows into complex surface structures. It dries quickly and shows excellent adhesion to teeth. The protective action of Fluor Protector is based on the following factors: inhibition of demineralisation, stimulation of remineralisation. Fluor Protector Gel. Fluor Protector Gel contains fluoride as well as calcium and phosphate. These ingredients protect teeth and repair and strengthen affected tooth structure. Xylitol inhibits the growth of cariogenic bacteria. Fluoride varnish is a pale yellow gel that sets quickly when applied to children’s teeth using a soft brush. The varnish sets quickly, has a pleasant taste and a fruity smell.
