Description
Dentsply K File NITI Flex 25mm Flexible Files For Curved Canals
- The NiTi K-file has one cutting edge with a 90° angle, with its unique spiral design flutes which it successively increase in depth and length from tip to handle. K files are useful for negotiation and initial canal shaping. They are relatively stiff, a useful attribute for the above indications. K flex type files are flexible and can shape curved canals efficiently, especially when creating a glide path.
- it is essential to remain patient, first negotiate canals by hand. And consider using rotary files in a crown down manner with copious irrigation between each file. If the impression shows that the curved canal is at the apical third, as shown in Figure 4. Measure the reamer up to the curve. Use this straight-away length to instrument with orifice openers, such as the K3 shapers, in a crown down fashion, up to the curve but not beyond. K files are the universal standard for canal negotiation, shaping, and recapitulation of root canal systems. They are generally used with a quarter turn “watch-winding” motion and vertical pull.
- Extraordinarily sharp and mirror-like finished edges with high ductility make for excellent working characteristics.
- Made of high quality Niti Alloy.
- Progressive taper design improves flexibility and cutting efficiency, especially in tighter or more curved canals.
- With fixed plastic washerand handle.
