Dentsply Ceram X Spheretec Universal Composite Kit. It is also indicated for the fabrication of inlays, inlays and veneers. As leaders in developing advanced technologies for superior dental restorative materials DENTSPLY has brought another ‘first’ to the profession with the introduction of ceramic.x universal. Based on revolutionary nano-ceramic composite material, Ceram.x universal offers significantly improved physical properties thanks to the development of SphereTEC, DENTSPLY’s new advanced granulated filler technology.
A high filler load supports mechanical strength and reduces polymerization shrinkage of a composite.
The process roughly contains 3 steps.
SDR and Ceram X Universal is a special composites kit, which is extremely useful on posteriors.
Ceram.X Universal is a universal, photo-curing, radio-opaque, nano-ceramic composite based on the new SphereTEC filling technology. The new filling technology of the Ceram X allows for easy adaptation to cavity surfaces and does not stick to modelling instruments, making it very easy to use. The Ceram X also introduces a unique new colour technology “in the cloud”, and has 5 colours to cover the VITA range. Adjustment of colours is also very easy thanks to the Chameleon effect of this composite.
