Dental Pulp Mummification Material The Biodinamica FORMOCRESOL formulation attends the concepts adopted by the current researches being, therefore, more diluted than the standard composition of Buckley, but it has the same or superior effectiveness, and a larger biological compatibility.
Its function is to fasten the alive pulps. Maintaining them inert and facilitating the conservation in deciduous tooth until a close time of the physiologic fall (pulpotomy).
It has a potent antibacterial action by the action of its components, which justifies its use in long curative in endodontics treatment. Internal resorption was the most common radiographic finding up to 24 month after pulpotomies performed with CH. The formulation of Formocresol obeys standards guided by current research, being, therefore, more diluted than Buckley’s standard composition, but having the same or superior efficacy and greater biological compatibility.

FORMOCRESOL is a dental pulp mummification material that is used to fasten the alive pulps. Maintaining them inert and facilitating the conservation in deciduous tooth. It has no carcinogenic or mutagenic potential, and the allowable daily intake, as established by WHO is 5 mg/kg.
