Shofu Beautifil Ii Enamel 2.5 Gm Universal Restorative Dental.  Beautifil II convinces with its aesthetic appearance with excellent colour harmonisation, exceptional handling properties and its anti-plaque effect. Due to its bioactive S-PRG filler this composite of the Giomer category has the property to release and recharge fluoride, based on the concentration of fluoride in the mouth.

The patented filler technology integrates the light transmission and diffusion properties of natural teeth, thus allowing virtually invisible restorations with even one layer. The material is therefore suitable for both anterior and posterior teeth.

Shofu Beautifil Ii LS shows a natural light reflection, which facilitates an accurate restoration of the natural tooth structure and also leads to a well-balanced chameleon effect in both dentine and enamel. The material is easy to adapt to the tooth; it does not stick to the instrument and can be sculpted without difficulty.  The manufacturer classifies it as a GIOMER, an esthetic restorative material that combines the characteristics of both composite and glass ionomer.

Beautifil II LS (Low Shrink), a hybrid composite formulated to minimize polymerization shrinkage and shrinkage stress in all cavity classes. It is said to offer clinicians predictable and functional esthetics with greater strength, higher wear resistance and virtually instant polishability. It demonstrates volumetric shrinkage of 0.85% and polymerization shrinkage stress of 2.72 MPa.
