3M ESPE Relyx Temp NE

RelyX™ Temp NE is Eugenol-free, therefore universally applicable, independent on whether subsequent cementations are performed conventionally or adhesively. 3M ESPE RelyX Temp NE is a non-eugenol, zinc oxide temporary cement formerly known as Procem.   With either a eugenol containing or non-eugenol temporary cement.  The resin specimens treated with the eugenol-containing temporary cement showed the lowest microhardness values, the non-eugenol-containing temporary cement was not significantly different from those of the control groups.

It has good adhesion properties, but is also easy to remove and to clean.

  • Eugenol-free for universal indications becasue it will not inhibit the polymerization of composite resin cements. It is compatible with temporary crown and bridge materials, composite resin cements and composite resin core build-up materials.
  • Minimizes need for time-consuming cleaning of the preparation because the majority of the cement remains on the temporary, not on the tooth structure.
