Description
3M ESPE Cavit -G Temporary Filling Material
3M ESPE Cavit g Temporary Filling Material is a temporary filling material self-curing under humidity for temporary filling of cavities. The final hardness of the three variants decreases in the sequence of listing. Proven filling material for temporary fillings Quick and void-free curing in a moist environment Packs and carves with no stringiness. Temporary fillings are just that; they are not meant to last. They usually fall out, fracture, or wear out within 1 month.
Be sure to contact your dentist to have your temporary filling replaced with a permanent one. If you don’t, your tooth could become infected or you could have other complications. A plus with the design is that the material slightly expands to create a good seal, and to stay in place until one can get to a professional.
The material will set pretty fast (<1 hour), but it is not recommended to eat for several hours. If you have a temporary filling you can still brush your teeth but you need to be aware that how you brush will make a difference. Be more gentle and take your time. Harsh brushing may damage or weaken your filling and if so, it will come away from your tooth sooner that you want
