Voco Calcimol Light–cured resin-modified glass ionomer liners are a better choice for general lining of cavities because of their fluoride release, decreased solubility, and superior mechanical properties. It also has medical and dental uses. For example, root canal fillings often contain calcium hydroxide. It can be used on several different dental materials that are curable by light.  And also from their potential to allow more heat or cold through than the natural tooth would.
